United States immigration authorities have arrested a 53-year-old Nigerian national, Olatunde Abiodun Olusanjo, in Los Angeles over allegations of child molestation, sexual battery, and soliciting lewd conduct.
The arrest was carried out on April 21 by officers of the Los Angeles Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO), a division of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).
According to ICE in a statement on Friday evening, “Los Angeles ERO arrested Olatunde Abiodun Olusanjo, 53, of Nigeria, Apr. 21.
“Olusanjo has previous arrests for child molestation, sexual battery and soliciting lewd conduct.”
It added that he is being held in ICE custody pending deportation proceedings.
