Following the resignation of the former deputy governor, Comrade Aminu Abdussalam Gwarzo, the Abba Gida-Gida Intellectual Forum, has carefully reviewed the current political landscape in Kano and called for the appointment of the Speaker Kano State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Jibril Ismail Falgore, as Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf second in command.
In a press statement, the forum proposed Falgore, as the right man to fill the vacant position of deputy governor.
