NITDA, in partnership with TechQuest STEM Academy, has opened applications for the Omniverse Research Exchange 2026, a major research-focused programme under the Omniverse Africa Summit 3.0.
The initiative is inviting researchers across Africa to submit their work and contribute to conversations shaping the continent’s future through innovation, collaboration, and technology-driven solutions.
Selected participants will have their flights and five nights accommodation fully covered, with funding support from the Federal Ministry of Research, Technology and Space, Germany.
About the Programme
The Omniverse Research Exchange is designed as a cross-continental platform where researchers, innovators, policymakers, startups, and funding partners come together to collaborate and share ideas.
The 2026 edition builds on the success of previous events, expanding opportunities for applied research, partnerships, and global knowledge exchange.
Participants will engage in:
- Collaborative workshops
- Rapid research presentations

- Networking sessions with global stakeholders
