Owerri, Imo State — A birthday celebration in Owerri reportedly turned chaotic after a female celebrant allegedly consumed a large quantity of an alcoholic drink known as BigBen, leading to a sudden change in behaviour and public disturbance… WATCH VIDEO.
According to eyewitnesses, the incident occurred during a private birthday party where the celebrant was initially in a normal and cheerful mood, actively participating in the celebration before her condition reportedly changed after several hours of drinking.
Sources at the scene claimed that she later began to act in an unusual and uncontrollable manner. The situation reportedly escalated when she removed her clothing and ran into the street, causing panic among guests and nearby residents.
Some attendees initially assumed she was joking, but her behaviour allegedly became increasingly erratic, forcing bystanders to intervene and restrain her for her safety and that of others.
Witnesses further alleged that she may have consumed a lot of BigBen, a strong alcoholic drink.
One witness recounted: She was fine at the beginning, but later started behaving strangely. People said she drank a lot of BigBen. Before long, she lost control and ran into the street.
Emergency responders were later contacted, and she was taken to a nearby hospital where she is currently receiving medical attention. Her exact condition has not been officially disclosed as of the time of this report.
