Raising Triplets Not Easy, Says Lateef Adedimeji

 

Adedimeji and his wife, actress Adebimpe “Mo Bimpe” Oyebade, welcomed a set of triplets on May 1, 2026, five years after their marriage.

The actor spoke about the experience while presenting an award at a recent event. During the ceremony, his co-presenter congratulated him on the birth of his children and fondly addressed him as “Baba Ibeta,” a Yoruba phrase meaning father of triplets.

Responding to the congratulatory remarks, Adedimeji admitted that raising triplets was not an easy task, noting that the babies consume a significant amount of food and require constant care.

The actor’s comments drew laughter from members of the audience as he humorously highlighted some of the responsibilities that come with caring for three newborns at the same time.

His co-presenter, however, reassured him that his fans would continue to support him as he navigates parenthood.

Reacting jokingly, Adedimeji told his fans to get ready, saying he might soon come knocking on their doors for financial assistance to help feed the triplets.

The lighthearted exchange entertained guests at the event, while also offering a glimpse into the actor’s experience as a new father of three.
