Las Vegas to New York, OYO parent PRISM expands in US with 30 new extended-stay launches

OYO’s parent company, PRISM, has expanded its presence in the United States. launching 38 new extended-stay hotels under its G6 Hospitality brand, Studio 6. The new properties have opened across major gateway cities with business demand and leisure travel, including in New York, Dallas, Houston and Phoenix; business hubs including Charlotte, St Louis, Richmond and Indianapolis; leisure-driven destinations like Las Vegas, and suburban markets such as Oakland, Greenville and Pasadena.

The move marks a major expansion for the India-origin hospitality company in the US market. Earlier this year, PRISM launched eight extended-stay hotels in the first phase, while the latest rollout added 30 more properties. G6 Hospitality is supporting this through technology and operational tools, including G6 Marketplace, Protect24.ai, and bookable early check-in.

What are extended-stay hotels?
Extended-stay hotels are designed for guests who need accommodation for several days or even weeks. Unlike regular hotels, these properties offer facilities that make longer stays convenient and comfortable. Amenities usually include fully-equipped kitchenettes, in-room workspaces, self-service laundry, high-speed internet, and flexible housekeeping services.

In a statement released by PRISM, the company stated that most of the newly-launched hotels have around 100-120 rooms, helping the company improve their operational efficiency while serving a wide range of long-stay travellers.
