The case became widely discussed after it was featured on Oyerepa TV’s Oyerepa Afutuo Show, which focuses on resolving family and social disputes. During the show, Kojo’s mother appealed to the public and to anyone impacted by the incident, explaining that her son’s health has worsened significantly over time.
Kojo recounted that the situation began while he was on duty in Tapa, where he allegedly became romantically involved with the spouse of a close friend. According to reports, the discovery of the affair triggered conflicts and tensions. Not long afterward, Kojo reportedly developed major health complications that have severely affected his speech and mobility.
His mother said he eventually returned from the Oti Region in a fragile condition and was unable to fully explain what had transpired. The family now hopes that support from the public might help him recover.
As part of the discussion, the programme host contacted Kojo’s friend to hear his account. The friend explained that while he was away in Assin Fosu for work, he received troubling reports about his wife’s conduct. He stated that his wife had already been pregnant before he left, but he later suspected she may have become involved with someone else during his absence.
Tensions reportedly reached a peak after he allegedly found Kojo caring for a child believed to be linked to the affair, leading to a confrontation that drew police attention. Even so, the friend maintained that he harbors no bitterness or anger toward Kojo despite the circumstances.
