Oburu Oginga's heartfelt tribute to 2nd wife Judith at State House Prayer Breakfast: "My prayer warrior"

Siaya senator and ODM leader, Oburu Oginga, has wowed Kenyans after heaping praises on his second wife, Judith.

During the National Prayer Breakfast, whose theme was forgiveness and reconciliation, held on Thursday, May 28 at State House, Nairobi, several dignitaries, including President William Ruto, First Lady Mama Rachel, DP Kithure Kindiki, Second Lady Joyce Kindiki, and Oginga Oburu, just to mention a few, attended.

How many wives does Oburu Oginga have?

On October 19, 2025 during Raila Odinga’s funeral, Oburu lovingly introduced his two wives, Dr Anne and Judith Oburu.

The “youth leader” while introducing Judith, who works with the National Social Security Fund (NSSF), shared reasons why he married a second wife.

The Anglican believer pampered his second wife with love during the National Prayer Breakfast event, praising her for being the family’s prayer warrior.

“I’m here with my dear wife. Some people don’t want to publicly acknowledge they have second wives. I have a second wife who takes care of me. She is born again and one who prays for our family. I’m not yet here, but she is pushing me to come closer to God,” he said, inviting his wife to join him at the podium and pray for the nation.

Dressed in a green skirt suit, Judith was all smiles as she joined her polygamous husband at the podium.

Beaminh with pride, Judith, thanked her 82-year-old husband for saying kind words about her.

“I’m born again, and I love the Lord as my personal saviour, and I’m happy to be here,” Judith said before praying.

What did William Ruto say at National Prayer Breakfast?

In another story, William Ruto said he would accept whatever outcome emerges from the 2027 General Election during the prayer event.

Ruto urged Kenyans to stop panicking over the 2027 election, saying the country should trust in God’s plan regarding leadership.

Ruto also spoke on martenal and mortality rates in the country, saying that Kenya should not lose more lives to preventable causes.

The head of State, who married in 1991, revealed for the first time that he and Rachel lost their firstborn son.
