This came after the Lagos lawmaker lost the Lagos state House of Assembly primary election.
During a conversation with an interviewer on BBC, the Lagos lawmaker said Nigeria is in democracy and not the military regime. He made the statement while speaking about the issues between him and Femi Gbajabiamila, the Chief of Staff to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
According to Desmond Elliot;
“We are in democracy and not the military regime. Gbajabiamila is not my friend but my boss. I respect him as my boss. He is somebody I am very loyal to and he loves me as his child. Sometimes, a father and child will have issues but they must look for a way to settle”.
Reacting, Lauretta Onochie said damaged goods.
