In the interview, the actress made the claim while speaking about alleged infidelity and emotional distress she experienced during her marriage, particularly during her pregnancy. She said the situation unfolded after she discovered unexpected content on a phone she believed had been abandoned and damaged.
Basira Beere explained that the device was left in the house and initially assumed to be completely unusable. According to her, she later attempted to access it, which led to the discovery of personal and explicit material she says she did not expect to see.
She recounted how she came across the phone during routine activities at home and eventually gained access to it.
Explaining how the discovery happened, she said: “His phone was bad at a time, and he thought it was completely damaged. So he left it in the house. I was cleaning the house one day and I saw it. I pressed the password and it opened so I inserted my SIM card with the mind that I will start using it. I took a picture with the phone, and I wanted to upload it then I saw what my eyes shouldn’t have seen.”
The actress further alleged that the content she found included nude images of some women linked to her husband. She claimed she retained some of the material without the knowledge of those involved. Highlighting the most controversial part of her revelation, she said: “Some of my husband’s girlfriends don’t know I have their nude on my phone.”
