“The Yoruba People Brightened My Life” – Cubana ChiefPriest Reveals Why His Support For Tinubu Is Unshakeable

Nigerian socialite and businessman, Cubana Chief Priest, has sparked conversations online after openly declaring his support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).

Speaking during a recent interview, the celebrity barman explained that his support for Tinubu became stronger after he reflected on the achievements of the APC in his home state and the people who positively influenced his life over the years.

According to him, his support for the president is now firm and unwavering.

“My support for Tinubu is something that’s not shakeable because I had to take a proper look at the achievements of APC in my state,” he said.

Cubana Chief Priest also spoke about the role different ethnic groups have played in his life, particularly the Yoruba people.

“As a Nigerian, I must support all tribes but if you check my life, the best people that have come around my corner and brighten my life are the Yoruba people,” he added.

The businessman further disclosed that he supported Labour Party candidate Peter Obi during the 2023 presidential election before eventually deciding to back the current administration after the election result.

“I supported Peter Obi during the last election. I could actually do better if I’m on the table where decisions are being made but now that I didn’t win, I can support who’s there,” he stated.

His comments quickly went viral online and generated mixed reactions from Nigerians, especially supporters of different political parties.

Many praised him for being open about his political stance, while others criticized his decision to support the ruling party amid the current economic situation in the country.
