Nollywood actor Muyiwa Ademola is celebrating a major milestone in his marriage as he continues to reflect on 20 years of union with his wife, Omolare Akanke.
The filmmaker recently took to social media to share a nostalgic throwback photo of himself and his wife, revealing that their love story began 23 years ago when they first met, and later progressed to engagement 20 years ago. He described her as his perfect soulmate and referred to her as a priceless gem in his life.
In a follow-up post, the Yoruba actor shared a heartfelt video montage capturing different moments from their journey together over the years. He also recalled how they officially tied the knot 20 years ago in Ikoyi, Lagos, marking what he described as a deeply meaningful moment in his life.
Expressing gratitude, Ademola said the past two decades of marriage have been a beautiful and fulfilling experience, one he would gladly relive over and over again. He appreciated his wife for bringing him peace and stability, describing her as his calm in every storm.
He went on to praise her for her love, patience, resilience, and unwavering support, noting that she remains one of his greatest blessings. The actor concluded by celebrating their shared journey so far and expressing hope for many more joyful years ahead together.
