Insecurity: Reps summon service chiefs, Ribadu

The House of Reps has summoned the National Security Adviser, NSA, Nuhu Ribadu, and the service chiefs, to appear before it.

This is due to the rising incidents of insecurity across the country.

The resolution was passed during Tuesday’s plenary.

It followed the adoption of a motion sponsored by Sulaiman Gumi, lawmaker representing Gummi/Bukkuyum federal constituency in Zamfara state.

Bandits and terrorists have been on rampage across the country killing and abducting unsuspecting citizens.

There have been calls for President Bola Tinubu to sack the service chiefs to pave the way for more capable hands.
