“Na mumu dey cry for woman” — Nollywood actor Yul Edochie advises men

Nollywood actor and filmmaker, Yul Edochie, has stirred debate on social media after sharing his views on relationships and heartbreak.

In a post shared on his social media platform, the actor advised men against becoming emotionally devastated when a romantic relationship ends, insisting that men should instead focus on self-improvement.

Actor urges men to prioritise self-development

According to Edochie, men who cry over women portray themselves as weak and unsuccessful. He encouraged men to move on after a breakup and channel their energy into personal growth and success.

Na mumu dey cry for woman. Abomination! Go and follow me on X, where I teach men how to be real men,” he wrote.

The actor further stated that a “real man never cries because of a woman” and advised men to wish their former partners well if a relationship comes to an end.

He added that becoming the “best and greatest version” of oneself would naturally attract other women, stressing that emotional dependence on a former partner could make a man appear like a “loser” in the eyes of women.
