A young woman in Nairobi is over the moon after landing a new job just days after quitting another.

Sherrynator went viral after sharing her experience with an employer and the nature of her previous job, which forced her to quit just 30 minutes after reporting to work.
In a TikTok video, the young woman complained about discrepancies between the job advertisement and the contract she was presented with.
Moreover, the workplace was in an unfinished building, where she sat on a wooden bench next to a foreman and construction workers.

To make matters worse, the employer expected her to source clients and make calls using her own resources, despite these requirements not being included in the job advertisement.
As a result, she decided to quit and return home.
Did Nairobi lady get a new job?
In another video posted a few days later, the young woman expressed her joy after a company reached out to her.
“Tell me how quitting a job got me another one. This is one of many. How does complaining get someone a job? I am so happy,” she shared.
She attended an interview without expecting to get the job, despite the company reaching out to her following the viral video.
Sherry noted that the interviewers liked her personality and believed she would be a valuable addition to their team.
“After my previous video, I literally broke down because I desperately needed a job and felt like I had been catfished by other employers,” she said.

Who is Sherrynator’s new employer?
It turns out that her online rant became a blessing in disguise, as she was shortlisted by Cleaning School Africa for a social media content creator role.
She expressed optimism about thriving in the position, saying content creation comes naturally to her.
“It’s a cleaning school and company. They teach people, including house helps, professional cleaning skills. They also offer office-cleaning services and have a Mama Fua app, but let me first find out exactly what the role entails,” she shared.
Sherry noted that her new boss was not strict about reporting time, as long as she delivered results.
She thanked her followers for supporting and sharing her content, saying they were the reason she secured the new opportunity.
