Human rights activist Harrison Gwamnishu has said that protests will not remove President Bola Ahmed Tinubu from office, insisting that the president is firmly in power.
According to Gwamnishu, no amount of demonstrations can force Tinubu out of office, adding that he believes the president will remain in office regardless of planned protests.
He said:
“Protests can never and will not remove Tinubu from office. There is a super glue gumming Tinubu to the presidential seat. It’s not possible. Tinubu cannot leave office even in 2027. If Nigerians like, they can protest from now till tomorrow, he’s going nowhere. I’m not joining any protest again in this country.”
