Nollywood actress Bimpe Akintunde has reacted following a public apology from her colleague and entrepreneur, Folake Flakkyfaj.
Kemi Filani reported that Folake had criticised the actress as she celebrated her daughter’s birthday over the weekend. She questioned why Bimpe was posting her daughter online if she didn’t want her face shown.
Her statement didn’t sit well with Bimpe, who called her out and filed a lawsuit against her.
Following the legal action, Folake, via her Facebook page, issued an apology, revealing that she had deleted the post and didn’t mean to upset her.
“Wasila Coded. Have deleted the post. I am sorry if I said anything that upset you”.
Responding to her, Bimpe said she doesn’t tolerate anyone saying anything negative about her child. She noted how she has ignored a lot on social media, but her child is where she draws the line.
The mother of two vowed to take legal action against anyone who has saved, shared, reposted, or is thinking of reusing that image in any form. Urging them to take it down, she admonished the public to respect boundaries, protect children and be responsible.

You can call me whatever names you like, say whatever you want about me, but keep my child out of it.
My child is my life, my reason, my everything. I have ignored a lot on social media, but this is where I draw the line. I will not sit back and watch anyone drag an innocent child into controversy for clout, attention, or careless talk. It is unacceptable.
The original post has been deleted, but let this serve as a FINAL WARNING to anyone who has saved, shared, reposted, or is thinking of reusing that image in any form: TAKE IT DOWN IMMEDIATELY.
My legal team is actively monitoring this situation, and we will not hesitate to take firm legal action against any individual or platform that continues to circulate or reproduce that content. No excuses. No second chances.

Similarly, Comedienne, Warri Pikin had lashed out at a troll over his insensitive comment about her children. The comedienne had shown off her children and a troll had said her kids aren’t that good-looking.
Hitting back, she described him as an ugly man with a POS camera.
Yoruba actress Yetunde Barnabas had fought against critics who dragged her for putting her 3-year-old daughter in a stroller. She expressed her disappointment, stating that she isn’t gentle with her child and would rubbish anyone.
Similarly, celebrity designer Toyin Lawani had dragged a fan for trolling her second daughter. She let the fan know that she doesn’t joke with her children. She noted that social media has turned everyone into mates, as she urged her fans to report the page for bullying.
To add to it, Sophia Momodu lashed out at a Snapchat user who called her daughter, Imade, insecure for not smiling. The fashion connoisseur reminded the fan that her daughter, Imade Adeleke, has more confidence than many critics.
