Last month, Jide had schooled those using Temi Otedola to shame other pregnant womén. Awobona noted that pregnancy journeys differ, as every woman experiences pregnancy differently.

Though Jide keeps his private life low-key, the actor is believed to be married with kids.

In 2021, news made rounds that the actor had traditionally tied the nuptial knot with another woman. A video from the nuptials made the rounds, though the woman’s face was not shown.

The wedding came after he dragged women who produced children outside their marriage, stating that wrong paternity tests negatively affect the children, not the parents.

The talented actor and his first wife had been courting since university days and got married in 2019. The union has produced a child.

In 2022, he recounted his wife’s scary experience at the hands of robbers, who threatened her at gunpoint on the Third Mainland Bridge. He praised his wife for being a sharp Ijebu woman and outsmarting the robbers.

Two years ago, he and his colleague, Eniola Ajao, created a stir online with their loved-up photos, accompanied by a declaration of love. The actors shared a love note from Dr Seuss which revealed how one can know they are in love.

In other news, during the wake of the ugly event at Chrisland schools, Awobona had called out the teacher of his niece who was harassing her in school. He warned the school teacher to desist from such acts or face the consequences of their mischievousness.

While weighing in on the fight between Dayo Amusa and Femi Adebayo, he shared a cryptic message, stating that he hopes the brouhaha buttresses his point that true love is beyond happy birthday posts, partying together, and all. He noted how there was no real love on the street as he prayed for God to help me.
