Applicants selected under the second batch of the Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) programme have been directed to immediately document their enrolment at their placement center or risk losing their beneficiary slot to others.

Candidates whose status currently shows “Approved” on their dashboard must take urgent steps to complete their registration at their assigned training centres.

Affected applicants are expected to contact their training centres without delay. This can be done either by phone or through a physical visit. The objective is to confirm enrolment, which is a mandatory step for the dashboard status to change from “Approved” to “Registered”.

Programme coordinators emphasise that approval alone does not secure a training slot. Only candidates who complete the enrolment process and are marked as “Registered” on the portal will be recognised as fully admitted into the programme.

5-day deadline

Beneficiaries have a strict timeline to comply. Applicants must report to their assigned centres within five days of receiving their placement notification.

Failure to meet this deadline may lead to automatic cancellation of the offer, with vacant slots reassigned to other applicants.

In addition, trainees who do not report by Friday risk being replaced as the programme continues to manage high demand across multiple states.

Required documentation process

To complete enrolment, applicants are expected to follow a structured process at their designated centres:

  • Print a copy of their dashboard showing approval status
  • Report physically to the assigned training centre
  • Present a valid means of identification
  • Ensure the centre updates their status to “Registered” on the portal
  • Complete biometric registration at the centre

Final confirmation step

After completing the documentation and biometric capture, applicants are advised to revisit their dashboard to confirm that their status has been updated to “Registered”.

This final step serves as confirmation that the enrolment process has been successfully completed and the training slot secured.

What this means

The directive highlights ongoing efforts to streamline placement under the TVET initiative while ensuring that only committed candidates occupy available slots.

With limited training capacity and strong nationwide interest, timely compliance remains critical for all approved applicants seeking to participate in the programme.
