Celebrity Nigerian businessman, Linus Williams Ifejirika, popularly known as Blord, has reportedly been relocated from a criminal cell at the Kuje Custodial Centre over health concerns.
The development comes about two weeks after the Federal High Court in Abuja remanded the businessman in custody for 26 days.
According to reports, Blord was arraigned on multiple counts, including impersonation of social media critic VeryDarkMan and alleged forgery.
Providing an update via his Instagram story, VeryDarkMan claimed that Blord had been unwell since April 6, 2026.
He also shared a WhatsApp message alleging that the businessman was transferred from a section identified as “Egypt 2” to a segregation unit due to his health condition.
He described “Egypt 2” as a section of the custodial facility housing inmates accused of serious crimes, noting that the relocation was necessary because of Blord’s illness.
In the same post, VeryDarkMan criticised activist Omoyele Sowore, stating that Sowore and his supporters were unable to secure Blord’s release as previously suggested.
He added that he was willing to “temper mercy” regarding the situation.
Earlier, Sowore, a human rights activist and former presidential candidate, had condemned the circumstances surrounding Blord’s remand, describing the process as unusually swift and accusing VeryDarkMan and his legal team of oppression.
Blord was remanded following his arraignment on charges bordering on impersonation and forgery, with the case expected to continue after the remand period.
