Ihiala 2027: Agbodike Gets Massive Endorsement as Bizman Backs Re-election Bid With N20m

The re-election bid of Hon Pascal Agbodike of Ihiala Federal Constituency has received a big boost from an international businessman, High Chief Chimezie Nwankwo (Owelle Okija) who supported his campaign efforts with N20 million.

Owelle Okija’s endorsement and the huge financial support threw the venue of Agbodike’ open declaration meeting into ecstatic mood as other stakeholders also staked their money on the incumbent by endorsing his reelection bid.

A stakeholder, Chief Joel Okey from Azia community said the overwhelming endorsement and presence of a capacity crowd who turned up for the occasion was a clear testament to Agbodike’s three years of good representation, hence need another term.

“The reward for hardwork will always be more work, he has obviously done well in the past three years by given ndi-Ihiala a responsible and responsive representation in the green chamber of the National Assembly, he has also carried out many mouth watering constituency projects across Ihiala, the people have indeed spoken today,” he asserted.

The newly constructed multi purpose hall at the Ihiala LGA Secretariat witnessed an unprecedented crowd on Saturday, 2 May, 2026, as constituents trooped out in their good number to endorse Rt Hon Agbodike’s reelection bid.

The lawmaker in his brief remarks applauded the Anambra State Governor, Prof Charles Soludo for naming Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University (COOU) Uli Campus after former Gov Chinwoke Mbadinuju.

He used the occasion to present his score card for the past three years and also declared his intention to go for second term.

Rt Hon Agbodike said that he has concentrated on the well being of his constituents in the past three years noting that he has positively impacted his people in the area of education, infrastructure development, human capacity development and employment at the local, state and federal level.
