A member of the Kano State House of Assembly representing Gwale Constituency, Abdulmajid Isa Umar, popularly known as Mai Rigar Fata, has officially dumped the All Progressives Congress (APC) for the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC).

The lawmaker, who represents Gwale Local Government Area, the same area as Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf, was formally received into the new party on Thursday by former Kano State governor and NDC leader, Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, at his Maitama residence in Abuja.
