Barrister Aloy Ejimakor, counsel to IPOB leader Nnamdi Kanu, has faulted former Head of State, General Yakubu Gowon, over his recent civil war memoir, accusing him of presenting a “distorted version” of Nigeria’s history.
Ejimakor said the memoir has reopened old wounds surrounding the Nigerian Civil War, insisting that the former military ruler unfairly shifted blame to Biafra leader, Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu.
