The Chairman of the Nigeria Governors’ Forum (NGF) and Governor of Kwara State, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, has called on President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to consider increasing Nigeria’s national minimum wage to ₦100,000.
AbdulRazaq made the appeal on Friday in Lagos during a Sallah homage visit by members of the Nigeria Governors’ Forum, led by Vice President Kashim Shettima, to President Tinubu’s residence.
Speaking during the visit, the NGF chairman noted that several states were already paying close to ₦100,000 in wages and argued that a formal review at the national level had become necessary....... .
