Soludo Leads EXCO Retreat For ANSEC Members Solution Team 2.0

Anambra State Governor, Prof Chukwuma Charles Soludo, has challenged members of his cabinet and permanent secretaries to visualize the end result of their tenure to effectively drive development.

Speaking at the Anambra State Executive Council Retreat, the Governor urged his team to draft their future valedictory address for March 2030 immediately and work systematically backward to fulfill those promises in line with the administration’s vision and mission.

The gathering marked the launch of a new governance phase designated as Solution 2.0: Acceleration With Precision. This strategic shift moves the administration from its foundational groundwork stage into a period of rapid, targeted policy implementation.

According to the Governor, the administration aims to establish a livable and prosperous smart megacity. “This governance framework is designed to lay the foundation for Vision 2070 through a development strategy inspired by global tech and economic hubs. The long-term objective is to position the state as a primary hub of sustainable economic prosperity across the continent.

To achieve this, Governor Soludo’s administration is emphasizing two distinct cultural changes including an enterprise-driven philosophy; cultivating a commercial and inventive environment that taps into the inherent innovative spirit of the local population to build a technology hub, homeland consciousness, encouraging citizens to actively invest, reside and spend their resources within their home state to stimulate sustainable domestic growth.

The Governor issued a stern warning against the typical delays associated with public service. He emphasized that the public evaluates governance by real, visible changes rather than the volume of administrative activities or the number of meetings held.

As part of this outcome-driven focus, the Governor instructed the council members instructed to identify high-impact, memorable legacy projects rather than spreading resources too thin across minor tasks. “Success will be measured by delivering core achievements that a minimum of 40 percent of the population can collectively agree significantly upgraded their quality of life”.

The retreat continued with the Governor’s intensive assessment of the state’s five pillars of development, where all ministries, departments, and agencies are required to strictly align their financial budgets, institutional energy, and policy frameworks with these primary pillars.

By establishing this aggressive planning timeline, the state leadership aims to eliminate procrastination and ensure all arms of government operate with maximum efficiency and precision.
