Heartbreaking videos have emerged from Mushere District in Bokkos Local Government Area of Plateau State, capturing the grief and devastation left behind after a deadly attack on Kawel and Kopkon communities.
In the viral footage, residents were seen mourning their loved ones as security personnel and community members assessed the destruction caused by the attackers. Families wept openly while others gathered around affected homes and burial sites, highlighting the scale of the tragedy.
Reports indicate that at least 18 people were killed during the attack, while several others sustained injuries. Community leaders said the assailants stormed the communities at night, opening fire on residents and leaving a trail of destruction in their wake.
