Nollywood stars have reacted to a blogger’s statement over the ploy against late actor Alex Ekubo’s family.
In a lengthy post on her Instagram page, Cutie Julls alleged that the blog has been approached by individuals connected to Alex Ekubo’s family with requests to publish serious, unfounded allegations about people closest to him, including his wife and family.
The blog claimed that among those who contacted them were Alex’s close family members, who participated in conversations in which the blog was asked to publish allegations about Alex’s immediate family.
After reviewing what was presented to them, the blog chose not to proceed because they weren’t satisfied that the claims should be published as fact. The blog said its conscience wouldn’t allow it to become part of something that could further divide a grieving family or unfairly damage people’s reputations.
