“My sister was dismembered, and her body was found in a sack. Those who went to the house did not find the suspect there. When we were told about the condition in which she was found, we kept asking ourselves what had happened. We wondered how it got to the point where she had to be killed in such a manner,” Ronald Nyakundi said emotionally.

Among the items recovered from the house was an axe, which investigators suspect may have been used in the killing before the suspect allegedly fled.

The deceased’s father could not hide his sorrow as he spoke about losing his daughter just days after the death of another one of his children.

He noted that the family was financially strained and appealed to well-wishers and Good Samaritans for support.

“We ask the government to kindly help us. We appeal to our governor, senator, and Member of Parliament (MP) to assist us in burying our loved one and ensuring justice is served. We are overwhelmed and humbly ask for their support,” he said.
